My name is Sabrina Franco, and I am your friendly neighborhood Makeup artist! I first landed in the cosmetology industry back in 2012 being a student at a technical high school. I graduated in 2016 with my high school diploma alongside my license in Cosmetology! since then, I have explored the world of cosmetology working from salons to chains as a hairdresser. Since I have always loved makeup, I left the hair business behind. In 2018 is where I took the chance and enrolled myself in Elizabeth Grady, where I became a certified makeup artist. I left my job as a female barber at the time to start my own freelance makeup business. I had the best first-year one could have as a newbie. In January 2019, I found out I was pregnant with my now incredible son, who blows my mind daily; he, without a doubt, is a blessing in my life. As you can imagine, being pregnant and standing on my feet for hours became less than ideal. As my belly grew, the less work I did. In my 7th month of pregnancy, I worked my final wedding of 2019, said goodbye to my brushes and palettes, and said HELLO to the fantastic job of motherhood. In February 2020, a few months postpartum, I decided to pick up my craft again and jump right in! I was excited and ready to see what 2020 had in store for That Cosmo Chick. Little did I know that the pandemic would hit on March 11th, 2020. So many businesses, SO many lives were affected and lost. Some lives changed for the better, but as a newbie freelance makeup artist and now a newbie mother and wife, I closed the doors for my business and personal life. My life turned upside down, and not in a fresh prince way. Through these last hard couple of years, I am so blessed to say that not only will That Cosmo Chick be back in business again, but my personal life is coming back together. Makeup is my gift, my art, and my passion. I can not wait to share with you and others!
